Cam and Mark met in 2010 at the very first AWARD school lecture.
Mark an inhumanly tanned graphic designer, Cam a portly bottle shop manager.
Mark made a joke about the turnout that Cam was too nervous to hear properly,
but this botched conversation would lead to over a decade of award-winning advertising.
Beginning their career properly at Ogilvy Sydney during the Share-A-Coke era, then Y&R NZ
during the McWhopper era, they quickly learned what it took to concept and sell the kind of ideas that regular people could enjoy, not just Adpeople™.
Since then they’ve been busy applying that knowledge both here and overseas, winning creative awards at Cannes, New York Festivals, Clios, LIA, Spikes, Effies, AWARD and basically all the other shows you’ve heard name-dropped in an About Us section.
But they also win pitches - for IKEA, NRMA, RugbyAu and Virgin Australia alone in their time at
CHE Proximity Sydney, where they’ve led a range of clients and helped keep CHEP on multiple agency-of-the-year lists as well as Contagious’ Top 10 Best and Bravest Agencies on the Planet.
Outside of the business Mark loves to surf.
Cam loves to coin new surfing terms like ‘Stokeonomics’ to irritate him.
